Silence!

I was on a train this weekend reading a piece about John Cage by Alex Ross in the New Yorker (subscription required, sorry), and then today I see that Radiohead's Thom Yorke (and other collaborators, including the prime minister and a tennis player) is releasing a charity single called "Two Minute Silence" for Remembrance Day, featuring precisely 2 minutes and 33 seconds less silence than the original...and possibly priming the public for an online campaign to make 4'33" this year's Christmas single.

All of which leads to the best excuse I can possibly think of to post this clip from 2001's Pootie Tang:

Sadatay!
